Our Rooms

• Chalet - Double - Two double beds. Our most popular accommodations, the side-by-side chalets are an ideal choice for those travelling together. They overlook the playground, pool and the lakes and feature hardwood floors, kitchenettes and decks. Cots are not available in these rooms.

• Chalet - Queen - Queen sized bed and hardwood stove fireplaces. Our most popular accommodations, the side-by-side chalets are an ideal choice for those travelling together. They overlook the playground, pool and the lakes and feature hardwood floors, kitchenettes and decks. Cots are not available in these rooms.

• West Lodge - A short distance from the Main Lodge area. Designed to offer a little extra room to stretch out and relax, with a partial dividing wall to separate the sleeping and living room areas, all units have two beds and pullout couch. Great for families. Hilltop rooms front onto a deck overlooking the lake.

• East Lodge - Lake View - Standard room with two double beds, and balcony or patio with lake view.

• East Lodge - Standard - Standard room with two double beds.

• Main Lodge - Upper Level - Featuring a fine view of the Bras d’Or Lakes, this 32-unit building offers traditional lodge accommodations in a comfortable open concept. Located next door to McCurdy’s for dining convenience. Upper level lake view rooms have one queen bed or two 3/4 beds.

• Main Lodge - Lower Level - Standard rooms with one queen or two 3/4 beds. Traditional lodge accommodations. Located next door to McCurdy’s for dining convenience.

Location

Silver Dart Lodge is conveniently located on 90 acres of nature, just on the outskirts of the bustling village of Baddeck, at the beginning and end of the famed Cabot Trail. From the grounds of Silver Dart Lodge we overlook the Bras d’Or Lakes. Attractions include Bell Bay Golf Club, Alexander Graham Bell Museum, Cabot Trail, Fortress of Louisbourg, Highland Village, Bras d'Or Lakes.

Directions

• From Sydney: Take Highway 105 West to Baddeck. Take Exit 8 into Baddeck and we are located just off the highway on the left hand side of the road.

• From Halifax: Halifax International Airport is a three and a half hour drive from our Lodge. Take Hwy. 102 through Truro, then east along the Trans-Canada Highway 104 through New Glasgow, Antigonish and across the Canso Causeway. At the rotary, take the second exit, Highway 105 to Baddeck. Take Exit 8 into Baddeck and we are located just off the highway on the left hand side of the road.
