I never miss out on Multi! I like to go on Friday evening after work with friends. On a Friday night, who can resist waltzing into the beer tent, and snacking on an endless diversity of food. You can easily get a little something here, and a little something there, making up a great meal of flavours from all around the world. I like the Filipino kabobs from last year - so tasty! The musical entertainment is also unmatched. Plus, the waterfront venue offers great perspective on the Halifax waterfront, bridge, and ferry. The terminal for the ferry is adjacent, so it is super-easy to get here.

I've volunteered for Canadian Parents for French - Nova Scotia chapter a few years ago. They are a valuable non-for-profit promoting French-language learning opportunities for youth. They have fun summer camps for children looking to practice their French. Canadian Parents for French is in the shopping tent, with scores of additional bargains from all corners of the world. Last year I even found a Baby Phat ball cap, for only $12.
