Châteaux are plentiful in Bas-Saint-LaurentFor three years I studied French at Dalhousie University; and during that time in a cultural studies course I had the opportunity to read “Kamouraska” by Anne Hébert. In 1973 it was adapted to film by Quebecois cineaste Claude Jutra. So, after graduating this last year I decided to take a road trip to discover the town I had read about, that for most, is just another random exit
